There were beautiful clouds, a light wind, and a stormy afternoon in the Upper Cathedral Basin on this day. I summited nearby Tresidder Peak in the late afternoon and retreated to my tent in a deep, thick fog and my high expectation of a colorful sunset faded.
As I was making my dinner, I noticed the interior of my tent began to glow bright orange. I stuck my head out and basically saw this scene as the storm was clearing. I grabbed my camera and tripod and captured several beautiful memories. As of this writing, I have not experienced a more colorful sunrise/sunset. Absolutely beautiful!!!
