Thoughts:
After climbing over Sawtooth Pass from the Mineral King west side of the Sierra Nevada, I settled into this basin with Columbine Lake. I captured this scene of Sawtooth Peak as the Sun was peeking over the ridge behind me. It was a little rough going over the Pass, but this basin was definitely worth it! So beautiful.
